1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Penwright (“the Software”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software. These terms apply to all users, including free trial and paid subscribers.
2. Account Registration
You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Software.
3. Payment & Billing
Penwright Pro is billed at €9/month or €84/year; Team plans at €15/seat/month. Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Software for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Penwright application. You may not use automated systems to abuse the Software or circumvent usage limits.
5. Privacy
Penwright is a local-first application. All voice transcription and text processing happens on your device. Your use of the Software is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Penwright, you consent to the collection of minimal account and usage metadata as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Software at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your license to use the Software ceases immediately.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Penwright shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Software. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated terms, you may cancel your account.
